EVENT | COMECE & FAFCE to organise a conference on the experience of women in times of pandemic

09/09 - COMECE and FACFE invite you to participate in the event "The experience of women in times of pandemic", which will take place in a hybrid formula (online and in Brussels) on Wednesday 28 September from 10:30 to 13:00 (CEST).
The event will be an opportunity to exchange on the concrete experience of women during the COVID-19 pandemic and to initiate positive changes for the post-pandemic recovery.

OPPORTUNITY | Workshop on the state of democracy in the EU to take place in mid-September

11/07 - The group "Passion for Europe" proposes a residential workshop in the city of Namur (Belgium) on the future of democracy in the European Union. The event is organised under the umbrella of the Jesuit European Social Centre (JESC), one of COMECE's Brussels-based partners. The initiative will take place on 16-18 September 2022. COMECE General Secretary will participate in the reception for Rosh haShanah, the Jewish New Year, organised in Brussels by the European Jewish Association (EJA).

29-30 September
The COMECE Legal Affairs Commission will be chaired by its President Mgr. Hoogenboom and will focus on the fight against child sexual abuse online, the primacy of EU law over national law, cross-border family law, GDPR, discrimination on grounds of religion.

3-5 October
COMECE will participate in the European Meeting with the Pastoral Migrants to take place in Paris with about 30 delegates from European cities. COMECE will present its mission of dialogue with the EU institutions and its activities in the field of migration and asylum.

4 October
Launch of the COMECE Youth Net.

12-14 October
The COMECE 2022 Autumn General Assembly will take place in Brussels (Belgium) and will be chaired by H.Em. Cardinal Jean-Claude Hollerich SJ. More info will be available in the next few days.
